About Swedworks Global
Fifteen years.2,000+ applications.A 95% success rate.
Swedworks Global is a specialist practice focused exclusively on Swedish work permit application processing. We’ve handled cases for Swedish and international companies across six continents — refined over fifteen years into a system that doesn’t miss details.
How We Work
The systems that produce a 95% success rate.
Fifteen years of cases has produced one thing more valuable than expertise alone: a structured, repeatable process where every detail of every case is tracked, dated, and accounted for.
The pre-assessment system
Every case starts with a free pre-assessment. We carry out the same analysis Migrationsverket will — before the application is submitted, not after.
- Employer’s financial standing and ability to pay the offered salary
- Salary level vs. the relevant collective agreement and the current threshold
- Insurance coverage (health, life, occupational injury, pension)
- Documentation completeness on both employer and applicant side
- Honest verdict — we decline cases we don’t believe will succeed
The case management workflow
Every active case is tracked in a status-coded workflow — every required document, every deadline, every authority interaction, every payment milestone.
- Per-case checklist with colour-coded status fields
- Deadline tracking with automated reminders
- Document receipt log for every required item
- Union dialogue, embassy guidance, and insurance verification tracked separately
- Notes and decisions preserved against the case file
- Everything aligned with the same handbooks Migrationsverket case officers use
The follow-up routine
Submission is not the finish line. The follow-up routine carries each case to a decision — and triggers action at the right moments.
- Migrationsverket status monitored on a weekly cadence
- Embassy/consulate developments tracked for each candidate’s country
- Regulatory and policy changes flagged against affected cases
- Extension reminders sent 4 months before permit expiry
- Single specialist responsible end-to-end — no handoffs
Track Record
Fifteen years, four credentials.

What Drives the Work
Empathy expressed through operating decisions.
Why this matters to us.
A Swedish work permit case isn’t paperwork. It’s an employer’s hiring plan, a family’s relocation, a candidate’s career, a project’s deadline. Fifteen years of doing this work has made one thing obvious: every case has stakes that go well beyond the application form. That’s why we pre-assess every case before accepting it, why we decline cases we don’t believe will succeed, why we carry risk through the pay-on-success structure, and why one specialist handles your case start to finish. The values aren’t a statement on a page. They’re the operating decisions we make every week.
Why we pre-assess.
A submitted case that fails wastes everyone’s time and damages the employer’s standing with Migrationsverket. A case that succeeds because we caught a problem before submission was worth every hour of the pre-assessment. The 95% success rate isn’t a marketing number — it’s the result of declining cases that wouldn’t have worked, and fixing problems in cases that needed fixing before they reached an officer’s desk.
We turn down cases we can’t win
Every potential case starts with a free, unconditional pre-assessment. If we don’t believe a case will succeed, we say so — clearly and quickly. The 95% success rate isn’t an accident; it’s the result of saying no when the answer is no.
The bureaucracy is our problem, not yours
Swedish work permit cases involve Migrationsverket, the trade union, four insurance providers, Arbetsförmedlingen, and a Swedish embassy in the candidate’s country. The client signs one power of attorney. We handle every other conversation.
Fixed prices, honest scope
No hourly billing. No discovery fees. No surprise add-ons. The price you’re quoted is the price you pay. If a case turns out to need more work than we expected, that’s our problem — we still deliver on the quote.
One specialist, every case
A Principal Specialist handles every case from first message to final decision, supported by a trusted network of senior case managers. No internal handoffs. No learning curve on your file. Direct access to expertise is the service.
A Note on Names
If you knew us as Permizon — we’re still here.
Long-time Clients
Long-time clients may know us by an earlier name.
Until 2024, Swedworks AB operated two parallel services: international medical recruitment for Swedish healthcare employers, and Swedish work permit application processing under the brand Permizon. The medical recruitment business served Sweden well for many years before that segment of the market shifted, and we wound it down.
The work permit specialty has since consolidated under one name with the same team — today we operate as Swedworks Global, focused exclusively on what we do best. If you worked with Permizon in the past, you’re working with the same people now.

Company Timeline
From sole proprietorship to global specialist.
Fifteen years, three legal forms, one focus.
The career pivot
After nearly two decades in the IT industry, the founder pivots to immigration and language services — driven by the belief that Swedish employers’ growth shouldn’t be capped by an inability to navigate foreign-hire bureaucracy.
Swedworks International is founded
Registered in Sweden as a sole proprietorship, focused exclusively on Swedish work permit application processing. First clients are Swedish employers in Karlskrona and the surrounding region.
Swedworks AB
The business incorporates as Swedworks AB, with an office in Karlskrona and a team. Work permit cases continue, and a parallel medical recruitment service is added — placing healthcare professionals in Sweden from around the world. The work permit division operates under the brand Permizon.
Credentials accumulate
During this period, Swedworks AB holds the UC Gold rating for highest creditworthiness, is recognised as a Nordic Growth Company, and is certified by Migrationsverket as both a consultancy partner and a Fast Track participant (a system that ran 2018–2021 before being discontinued).
Acquisition · Consolidation · Move to Dubai
Swedworks AB is wound down in Sweden. The Swedworks brand is acquired by Iconic Digital Solutions LLC (Dubai, UAE). The medical recruitment business is discontinued. The work permit specialty — previously also operated under the Permizon brand — consolidates under one name: Swedworks Global.
Swedworks Global · location-independent
Same specialist, same expertise, lower overhead. Fixed prices in EUR, invoiced from the UAE entity, no Swedish VAT. The team works digitally from wherever the work needs them. Customers don’t notice; the work is the same.
