Why fixed pricing

Sweden work permit cost — predictable from day one.

Most immigration consultancies bill hourly. That makes the final Sweden work permit cost impossible to predict and creates an incentive to spend more time on every case. We do the opposite.

One price, written down

You see the full Sweden work permit cost before you commit. The price quoted in our offer is the price on the invoice — no add-ons, no scope creep.

Government fees at cost, upfront

The Swedish Migration Agency’s application fee is billed separately, at cost, with no markup — invoiced upfront on submission. We pay it to Migrationsverket on your behalf and send you the receipt.

Complexity is our problem

If a case turns out to be more complex than the pre-assessment suggested, the Sweden work permit cost doesn’t change. That risk sits with us, not you.

Add-on charges

Other case options

When the standard case structure doesn’t fit.

Most cases run under our fixed end-to-end pricing. In some situations, a different arrangement makes more sense. Two options we offer for these:

Applicant-only case

Sometimes an applicant approaches us for help with their portion of the application because the employer declines to outsource the employer side. We can take on the applicant’s part only — preparing documents, submitting the applicant’s section, and working with the employer where needed.

Up to 50% offthe relevant permit type’s standard price

Exact discount depends on case complexity and is confirmed in the written offer.

Supervision & consulting

In rare situations, an employer or applicant handles the application themselves (or with another vendor) and asks us to supervise, advise, or give a second opinion at specific points in the process. For these limited cases, we bill on an hourly basis rather than a fixed case fee.

€149 / hourbilled only for time actually spent

Scope agreed in writing before each case.

How invoicing works

Sweden work permit cost — clean, cross-border, no VAT surprises.

  • Currency: All prices and invoices are in euros (EUR).
  • Invoicing entity: Invoices are issued by Iconic Digital Solutions LLC, registered in the United Arab Emirates, operating as Swedworks Global.
  • Swedish VAT: No Swedish VAT is charged on our service fees, which simplifies cross-border invoicing for international companies.
  • Migration Agency fee: Billed separately at cost, no markup, and invoiced upfront on submission for all customer types. We pay it to Migrationsverket and send the receipt. Government fees are non-refundable regardless of outcome.
  • Government fee schedule (at cost): main applicant 2,200 SEK (~€203); ICT / EU Blue Card 2,000 SEK (~€185); co-applicant spouse 1,500 SEK (~€139); children 750 SEK (~€69). Verify current amounts on the Migrationsverket fee page.
  • Payment terms: Stated on each invoice — typically 30 days, unless we agree otherwise in writing. (Pay-on-success cases have a different schedule — see the Payment Guarantee page.)
  • Employer-paid cases: Invoices can be issued directly to the employer rather than the applicant, on request.
Common questions

Sweden work permit cost — common questions.

How is the Migration Agency fee charged?
Separately, at cost, with no markup — and invoiced upfront on submission. For a standard work permit it is currently SEK 2,200 (approx. €203); ICT and EU Blue Card cases are SEK 2,000 (approx. €185). We pay it to Migrationsverket on your behalf and send you the receipt. Government fees are non-refundable regardless of outcome. You can verify current amounts on the Swedish Migration Agency’s official page.
What if my case turns out to be more complex than expected?
Our fixed price doesn’t change after a case is accepted. The pre-assessment exists precisely to surface complexity up front. If complexity emerges later that wasn’t visible at pre-assessment, that’s our problem — we still deliver on the quoted price.
When do I pay?
The Migration Agency fee is invoiced upfront, on submission, for every case. For standard cases our service fee is invoiced when the case begins, with payment terms of 14 days. For pay-on-success cases our service fee is invoiced only after the permit is granted — but the Migration Agency fee is still paid upfront and is non-refundable.
What’s the pay-on-success arrangement, exactly?

For qualifying cases, our service fee is invoiced only after Migrationsverket grants the permit. A 20% premium is added to the standard Sweden work permit cost to reflect the risk we assume.

Eligibility is decided during the free pre-assessment and confirmed in your written offer. Cases that don’t qualify are invoiced at standard pricing with no premium. Full details — including which industries and company profiles qualify — are on the Payment Guarantee page.

Do you charge for the pre-assessment?
No. The pre-assessment is free and carries no obligation. If we decline your case at this stage, no fee is charged. If we accept it, you’ll receive a written offer with the fixed price before any contractual commitment.
What happens if the application is not granted?
Our success rate is above 95% precisely because we only accept cases we believe will succeed. If a non-grant still happens, our service fee under pay-on-success is not charged for qualifying cases. The Migration Agency application fee is paid upfront and is non-refundable regardless of outcome — that fee goes to Migrationsverket, not to us.
Can I pay in instalments?
For most cases, payment is due in full on the invoice’s terms. For larger cases — typically multiple applicants on a single project, or ICT cases with significant volume — we can discuss instalment terms on request.
Why is your pricing in EUR rather than SEK?
The invoicing entity (Iconic Digital Solutions LLC) is UAE-registered, and most of our growth segment is international companies that prefer EUR over SEK. Swedish employers can pay in EUR with no friction — we don’t charge a currency conversion premium.
